![]() ![]() ![]() Check this out. I started training seriously about a year ago. I was about 180lbs (mostly fat) with a 38" pant size at 5'8" tall. Within four months I was at 165lbs and pant size went to 33" I was gettin stronger by the day. But guess what? One fuckin year later I've made very few gains. I'm now at 177lbs pant size is 34 and seems like I'm stuck here. My goal is to get big and more muscular(like most men's goal). I've change the intensity of my routine but I'm getting frustrated with this snail's pace. I work out religiously 3 times a week and cardio once a week but this slow progress is pissin me off. I don't think I will ever stop working out because I enjoy it but damn, I want to see some benefit for my efforts. Any advice? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() question. Are you taking any kinds of supplements or have you in the last year? What is your diet also? I've been very committed to working out the last year also and I've made incredible gains, however I started of skinny (130lbs.) Right now I'm almost 160lbs. write back about your diet and supplementing, ect. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanx guys for answering. Here's my typical diet. 8am: 11:30am after workout. 3:00pm 7:00pm another dinner similar to the 3:00 meal without shake. 11:30pm bowl of oatmeal before bed. Normally I mix 5 grams of Glutamine powder with the shake before and after a workout IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() what most people dont realize is that if u want to put on weight, up your carbs. and depending on when you eat the carbs will determine if u gain muscle or fat. dont take in any complex carbs after 8pm, cause after that they will turn to fat. take in 1.5 grams of protein per bodyweight, and stay away from simple sugars, like candies and snacks and shit like that. anything else u want to know, i can help u out a little. ![]() ![]() ![]() You sound like you are eating enough perhaps you should up the training (3 times per week is a bit light). Do you put everything you possible can in a work out? Do you have a spotter to push you that extra rep? Remember - everyone makes huge gains in the first 12 months but then it slows down - this is when the dedication is needed. The slower gains drive many people to roids. IP: Logged |
