Well of course diet and exercise works. Thats all EAS is promoting (along with their supplements) But do not for a minute believe that you will look like the winners after 3 months. YOU WILL NOT!!!! I also fell into the trap, last year. I made decent gains with alot of fat loss. What I did get out of it was a sense of how to weight train. I still use these principles to this day. It was the kick start to get me into weight training with proper diet, rest and cardio.
It was a good expirience, however I was one of the naive that thought I could look like Drew Avery after only 3 months. These guys failed a polygraph test when asked about "roid" usage. So as a recap.. Yes it is a good expirience, yes you can make gains and lose weight. I personally think EAS supplements are among the worst on the market. Buy them at your own risk and don't expect too much.

Well maybe I'm alone but I have made a good go if it. I have a terrible diet - drink at least 6 Dr. Peppers a day - thats over a 1000 cal.. Alot of what will happens depends on your history and gentics. I lift hard not to his schedule don't have the time. Never do the aerobics, that he suggest. I do pound the help out of the supplements. Creatine, Andro, Multi - love universal animal paks, Pro performance - multis. Betagen with HMB, Cytovol, Whey- protien. And eat everything in sight. I had to stop the andro it was giving me terrible acne. So do I use his program - guess not, am I sending my results hell yes. I went from 203 to 192 and pick up alot of muscle on the way. Got life insurance the other day and got a discount because my blood work was so good. The insurance company asked what I was doing! go figure. Biggest thing I hit the gym at least twice a week. And occasionally I do a thing I call Slamming - training two days in a row the body parts the same way - man that makes me hurt - but I think helps the gains. I think EAS has a good package and good advice, they haven't said or done anything that somebody hasen't already said. Most of it common knowledge. People pissed BIll's making the money. I found the supplement review a good book.

I used to worship Bill Phillips until I finally realized that all he's trying to do is sell supplements. His program is to expensive. Its all about Myoplex.

Of course Bill Phillips is trying to sell supplements and his image. I think the most you should get from body for life is a kick in the ass and the motivation to hit the gym. Do your own research on the best supplements, EAS is way overpriced.

I've read the book, and there is absolutely nothing new or cutting edge in it. But it does give the most fundamental principles of bodybuilding: EAT, TRAIN, REST. In essence, it's telling you to JUST DO IT. In that regard, I would say that it is the most succesfull training book available.

I have to side with newbe here as I did the EAS challenge a couple of years ago myself. Consequently, I feel that I have an intimate familiarity with the Phillips corporation. After you learn what to look for, and tuck some experience under your belt it's not hard to see the limited values in the overall EAS message. I too did the gammot of Bills supplements and found them short of effective compared to other product lines. I even believe that I can achieve the same (if not better) results without supplementing! Bill's striving for the silver bullet of fitness and bodybuilding. Fortunately, there is no 'one size fits all'. Bill built his body on steroids. (not that that's bad, until you start preaching natural) I suspect that most of his prize pupils do it the same way. The danger is that he promotes the idea that anybody can go from shit to shine in 12 weeks. So how many people will actually quit out of disappointment with the idea that they are disfunctional? Personally, I think Bill's message is crap and wouldn't recommend it for anyone beyond the very beginner, and that's only if that individual insisted. And personally, I think that women in bodybuilding should have some muscle on them. Fuch this barbie doll immage!

bills body for life is 100% legit,im personally friends with one of the original champs.i work in a vitamin shop where he purchased all his supplements.hes one of the guys who failed his polygraph test on the video.but polygraph testing is far from accurate he did pass an olympic standard drug test so that says enuff.bills program is designed for novices who know nothing about bodybuilding he preaches motivation, and will power.sure bill is out for cash i think people are just mad that hes successful and theyre not.bill does alot of good for bodybuilding and eas is the first company to fund studies on sport supplements.bill changed the industry on pure honest workmanship,we should all thank him
