![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have a problem that every time I lift I constantly shake. It doesn't matter if I'm going heavy or not. I have no joint pain either. Is there a way I can solve this? Do I have weak stabilizer muscles? Whats the deal, can anyone tell me what to do or is it no big deal at all? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I think the weight you are using may be an issue. How long have you been working out? I know sometimes I shake and I've been at this for 6 years. Notice it when I go heavy with certain movements. Maybe back off the weight slightly and make sure you are performing absolute control on the weight and muscle being worked. Squeeze the muscle during/at the contraction and resist on the negative part. This will teach you muscle and movement control. Remember it is not how much you do, but how you do it. I hope this helps a little. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I shake when I lift. It normal. I think its called muscle fatigue or something like that. It lets ya know that you are working them. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When you shake during a workout it usually happens towards the end right? That is because you have depleted your energy reserves and are now training on your nerves. Not a good thing. Just cut back on your volume. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If it's at the beggining it would probally be because your muscle fibres are not firing simotaneously which is because the body is adjusting to the specific movement pattern. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I have the same prob when I am bench pressing, but only when my arms are fully extended (at the top). It never used to happen to me but then I started doing my reps really slow (4 seconds on the neg and pos) and I've shook ever since. It only on the BP though, nothing else. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's likely that it's a mental problem. I know how you feel though, I fell once doing squats and now believe I"m going to fall every rep, it can really be hard on you. The only way not to shake is to leave all your worries behind and just have fun while you lift. Alittle laughter can heal a lot ![]() ------------------ IP: Logged |
