fitrex is alright, but in my opinion, if you follow their workouts exactly, you will be overtraining. it is good for beginners to get an idea of a split, but adjust it so you aren't killing yourself. IP: Logged |

Max258 - 20-25 sets! How many hours are you in the gym? Ever heard the expression "If you can hammer a nail into a piece of wood in one go, why hit it again?" IP: Logged |

Try this HIT workout. Be sure to do 2 warm up sets of 15 reps for each exercise. In this routine you will be working out less but more intense. The most common mistake that many people make is overtraining. You always want to come refreshed for your next workout. If you don't recover from your previous workout, rest another day or two. Here's the routine: Workout 1 Workout 2 Do not do these workouts two days in a row, keep at least two days in between each workout. You should only be doing each workout once a week. You really want to crank up the intensity. Each one of your work sets should be very hard, so hard that you have to mentally focus in order to complete each set. I used to be very skeptical when it came to HIT, but I found that it's harder than it looks. Add a little weight every week or two. Follow this for three months and then change it around. In this workout, you don't need to do any arm work. You're arms will come into balance as you progress. This type of training is very different from other training methods. I hope this helps.
