One is a 5 year old injury and one is a 3 year old injury.

Anyone have any tips to help rebuild the muscle? Nothing seems to work.

It has gotten better but when you touch the kneecap it is VERY easy to wiggle and that scares me because I know dislocating it again would be very easy.

Thanks,
H

I would see a sports therapist or practitioner about it, something that severe should be evaluated.

most docs are gonna say stop squatting etc. and I know you don't want that! so see someone who is more specialized.

I agree that you should get it checked out by a sports minded doctor. There are several athletic braces that are on the market and if fitted with the right one (you need a doctor or therapist to do this )you will greatly reduce the chance of further injury.
I'm having my ACL reconstructed in 2 weeks, although I'll be down for several months I plan on being able to return to my full workout routine without any problems.
