Mainly complex carbs about 2 hours before. I make sure I have plenty of water and my vitamins. If I eat too late I often feel sick during w/o. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

same thing here basically...i enjoy an MRP 2hrs prior to working out, which contains 40g protein/20g carbs and eat approx 12 almonds as far as efa's are concerned.always feel focused and ready to train, without the "puke" sensation while training.if i eat right b4 my training session,i experience a bloat feeling and don't enjoy the pump from the workout. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

You are right to think about your pre and post workout meals, they will make a huge difference to your training intensity and recovery ability. I try to make sure I have a good meal about 2 hours before, and a shake containing about 30g protein and 60g complex carbs about an hour before training. I might also eat some fruit on my way to the gym. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
