my roommate and best friend believes that working out both bi's and tri's on the same day promote growth. i read that this can inhibit the growth of the muscles b/c they pull on each other. any advide would be greatly appreciated bbg

They are great when worked together, as for agonistic/antagonist muscles intereing with each other and inhibiting growth: complete bullshit. ------------------

Did mine together last night after shoulders. They work realy well together and you get a phenominal pump.

Yep, together is good, either super setting or doing all bi exercises and then tries or vice versa. I like to switch my split around, so for a few weeks I would do back/bis and chest/tris, and then I will do shoulders/bis/tris. As long as you are getting a good intense workout you can grow off of all sorts of training splits

I always work them together. I believe the blood volume that you get by doing them together promotes more growth then training them seperately. Most people do back/bis or chest/tris which I really don't like. After a chest or back workout I cannot use the amount of weight I would like to use. And for me at least more weight=more mass... ------------------ |
