My bis are the toughest to grow for me...i do about 7 sets..every 5 days. Overtraining or undertraining?

Its the quality of the exercise , not the quantity . I gained better biceps in about 6 weeks by following this simple routine :
wide grip barbell curls X4
preacher curls X6
concentration curls X4
standing cable curls till failure
I train the biceps to failure twice a week .

Its hard to tell without more information, for example, if you were training your back the next day you could be over training them. But from the information given I would say seven sets over five days is fine. Just make sure your working the biceps when doing your sets. 95% of the people I see in the gym can't do biceps properly, they're always swinging their back or their elbows. Make sure you use strict form and concentrate on feeling the biceps burn with each rep using a slower tempo--don't worry about the weight. Try to increase the weight or reps each time as well as mixing things up every couple of week so your biceps are given fresh stimulus to grow.Combined with good nutrition and rest you should make some gains.
