Does anyone know the routines outlined in Diasaur Training or other old style conditioning techniques?

All I know is there's not a lot changed in the new methods. They have all been done b4 and basics will always work best.

They do not really set many routines up for you. Being a dinosaur means training heavy and incorporating the following into your routine:

Squats
Bench
Deadlifts
Thick bar lifting
Sandbags
Barrells
Power Rack partials
Bottom position movements
Grip work
Keg lifts
etc...

He also says that you do not have to do all of these to be a dinosaur...you just have to train very hard on the big 3.

I would think they would not care about the bench press as much since you are on your back and it did not become popularv until relatively recently.

The author of dinosaur training talks about doing flat bench from the bottom position with a 3" bar a lot. Different than strongman events which are based a lot on deadlifts and overhead presses.
