Hey Guys, I am off my bulking, I am 5'11 @180lbs. I am in the need to get ripped and what not. I hear and have read that diet is really the true and only way to go for cutting (Besides cardio). If what I have researched is true, eating an a great deal of salad (with light ranch, and cheese) topped with chick is a great way to cut down on un-nesseary calories and keep size. If one were to make this there diet 24/7 (with the 3 main meals that I eat) would it lead to weight loss. As an FYI: Each Salad has about 50 grams of protien in it, from both the cottage cheese added as well as the chicken that is topped) Anyone know how man pounds I will lose. Also I have a little pooch near the lower part of my abs! How the F1232 do I get rid of that, it sticks out as much as my CHEST! It looks horrible? I am not really interested in taking an ECA stack, so is there anything I can do? Will that reduce, with my new diet? Hindustan

First of all you need to eat more than 3 times a day!!! 6-7 small meals througout the day. And salad????? What is that, maybe here and there but you need to eat FOOD! You need to eat and eat clean. Chicken, lean red meat, tuna, turkey. Maybe take in some moderate to low carbs of oatmeal, rice, potatos, yams etc. Drink lots of water and do some cardio. Also make sure you are weight training, and doing it very intensly. As far as ABS, that is diet and some of it is genetics. Hanging leg raises are good for lower abs, do some roman chair situps with a medicine ball, crunches etc etc. But the whole salad idea is not good and very boring too!!! You want to maintain lean muscle mass and you cant do that eating salads!!!!!!

I'm with new@getinbig. It's fine to eat salads everyday. However, it can't be the main focus. 6 - 7 clean meals daily is the way to go. Take your protein, (and or MRP's) and nutrition bars are an excellent source of energy, and will keep your metabolism going. That's what burns fat. Cardio is also key! You don't need ECA to burn fat, however sometimes when you get to the very end of the fat and weight loss cycle, it can be helpful. If you get there and don't want to do ECA, consider Thyrolean or a similar product if you need it. By the way your problem is not just your abdominal area, it may just be your most obvious. Body fat is spread throughout the entire body. When you shredd you lose it everywhere, and your "pooch" will also get smaller. Just make sure that you do some intense abdominal training, so that when it's goine you have something to show for it. Make sure you're weight training and doing cardio. 180 at 5'11" is not too heavy. You need to build your muscles up as much as possible, which will in turn burn fat. Muscles burn fat! I'm 5'11" also, I stopped cutting when I reached an all time low of 186. Currently, I'm at 205 (today), and will be bulking to hopefully 210, by March 1st. I don't ever want to get below 195. The key in cutting is obviously overall body fat %, and what you're comfortable with. |
