Beyond Failure Training... www.nuclearnutrition.com check articles for beyond failure training #2 (or 3?) do you have huge delts? Pre-fatigue chest with pec deck, or cable flye's (hit them HARD) then move to an incline pressing movement. and then finally to a flye movement or dip. beyond failure training is not a joke, it is not H.I.T., it is not intense, It is INTENSE. you will stimulate every muscle fiber in your entire chest using this method. ------------------ | ||

there is no upper inner pec there is a upper, lower and medial pec, just do more inclines and hope they catch up,if they dont its genetics ------------------ "Fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity." Ripp3dmeat, I had the exact same problem as you...my "upper-inner" pecs have finally cought up to the rest of my chest. Emphasize more on incline movements. I do almost only flyes and db presses. I very rarely switch to bb but it's a good idea to throw it in there every now and then to keep the muscles "off-guard". Because my chest doesn't develop as evenly as it should I only do chest by itself on Mondays. That way you can use as much intensity and energy as possible. I warm up with light flat flyes and incline flyes for maybe 2 sets of 14. Do incline first so you can use all of your fresh energy to blast that "upper-inner" region. I do flyes first 6X10, then db presses 6X10, turn your pinkies towards each other at the top of the flye movement and squeeze...make sure your form is correct. If you can't maintain proper form, go down in weight, otherwise you'll recruit other muscles to finish the movement. That could also be your problem to start with. Waste your "upper-inner" pecs first and then finish with fewer sets of the flat movements. Everybody's different though, just try different angles, sets, reps, etc. and see what works for you. Give each new routine enough time to see if it works. You may even want to eliminate flat movements for a while if your chest is really out of balance.. Hope that helps.... Oh, yeah, seated military presses to the front as well as across the bench db pullovers will target that are as well, but only as secondary muscles involved with those movements..
