Im 31 and back when I grad. high school at 19- I weighed 220 and did 225 for 47 reps ---did 315 for 16 reps and Im about 240 now and would be lucky to get 225 for 20 reps---Im in much better shape now and overall stronger but back then I concentrated on the bench, now I can squat more and i have alot more dense muscle.

Damn. You bastards are strong. I'm 210 with fairly long arms, I can go 225 for 12 or 13 on a good day, so I'd say I could 210 for at least 15. A guess. ------------------

I have to comment as well and say that 47 reps on 220 is just incredible.

the MOST I have ever heard someone doing 225 for was actually Ronnie Coleman - seems like it was 73 but dont quote me. It was in the 70s though. Pretty awesome. At the arnold classic last year they had an exhibition where a cop did 405 for 27 reps!!! His goal was between 30 and 40 but he got hurt at 27. Pretty crazy... ------------------

"Yeah that was back when my form sucked and was on anadrol and test ---it was my second cycle----but as soon as I went off the anadrol my bench dropped like 80 Pounds----" Yeah, the funny thing about Anadrol is that my leg strength and pulling strength didn't go up alot, but my pressing strength went through the roof. I think the water retention really helps with leverage there.

Im 200lbs.. I have done 225 for 26 (about 2 weeks ago) so I imagine I could do 200 for 35 or so... ------------------
