Guys--

What do y'all think about this push/pull/legs split--instead of the usual 3 days, I've divided the push and pull exercises into two days for each...each day is five exercises, generally speaking 3 work sets for each. Let me know if you think it's too much--I'm off gear right now, and won't be back on until early March.

day 1--push #1
Flat Bench
Incline Db
Weighted Dips
Decline Flyes (I like decline, they always help expand my chest)
Close-Grip Bench

day 2--pull #1
deadlift
t-bar rows
chins
lat pulldown
cable pullovers

day 3--legs
squats
good mornings
leg press
seated calf raise
leg curl

day 4--push #2
seated military press
side db raises
bent over db raises
close-grip pressdown
skull-crushers(not a push exercise I know, but wanted to toss it in with the close-grips for the tris)

day 5--pull #2
shrugs
upright rows
barbell curls
preacher curls
incline hammers

any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a lot of training. 5 days a week? Man...that is a lot. I couldn't train a bodypart 2x a week. Not enough recovery time. If you train intensly...it shouldn't be possible to train more than once a week.

working legs the day after DLing is asking for trouble. Try to put those far apart.

yeah the intensity isn't there and your training too many days in a row. gear or no gear (i'm tired of hearing that as an excuse!)

you should never train more than 3 days in a row, never... and if you really have your head screwed on straight you should not be willing (or able) to train 3 days in a row (efficiently and effectively)

2 days on 2 days off weekend off (is a good 4 day split) do it too it!!
