Do you guys train biceps and triceps together on an arm day by itself or do you do the whole bi's with back and tri's with chest thing? Why or why not? ------------------

I do them both on the same day.. Supersets. You can get an awesome pump in a minimum amount of time. Its intense and fun.

me too, an excellent pump indeed. I've was never into doing back and bi's on the same day. Never had enough strength in my bi's to have any meaningful effect.

Back/bi that sounds liek a bad idea. Biceps are part of many back movements. I group chest w/ bi and back w/ tri and they are far apart. Since triceps work with chest, and biceps work with back the should not be close together in your schedule.

Yeah, I've tried all the above before actually. Just wondering what you guys prefer. I always loved the bi/tri pump too, probably the best pump I get... ------------------

back and bi's are great together, they are intimately related. after a back workout I usually do 2-3 sets of incline dumbell curls and my biceps have been growing slowly but surely. bi's/tri's: one of the funnest workouts possible talk about PUMP! ------------------

Bis and tris on the same day. Try doing a bi excercise then a tri excercise then a bi excercise and so on. or start with the tris first then go to bis then to tris, you catch my drift. Good pump.

I think both ways are effective for a pump. So, I think it's important to change it up from time to time. Currently, I'm doing chest and tris on Monday. Back and bi's on Friday. This is working well for me right now, because I'm allowing my tri's a whole week to recover before I hit them again. I like back and tri's because the whole time I'm doing back, I'm actually warming up my bi's for their workout, then all I need to do is a couple of exercises for bi's to burn them out. The major emphasis being on the back, then of course, they both have a week to recover.

I do bi's and tri's on the same day and the pump is great. I also do a set of incline curls at the end of my back workout. Best of both worlds I guess?!

I used to do Back and Bi's together and it was working out great, until I hit a plateau and wasn't getting any pump from the bi's... not to mention I no longer had any strength to work the bi's after working my back. I work chest and bi's one day and then my tri's come in on shoulder day. This has been working out very well for me so far. ------------------ Rock On!

You got to love it when your arms are about to EXPLODE. Train them together for sure. Back and Bi's are hard to do when you get a good pump. Keep training and stay tough |
