I have read that substances such as ephedrine, yohimbe, and clenbuterol strip mid-section fat by blocking the beta-2 receptors there. If they are useful when dieting then is my reasoning correct to believe that using these substances when bulking up will inhibit the fat from being deposited on my tummy? The fat will be deposited elsewhere right? Is my reasoning correct?

I've never heard of ergogenic aids and metabolic enhancers preventing lipogensis in a specific area. I'd say that's probably b.s. Also, if you're trying to bulk, I'd stay away from them altogether. ------------------

i truly doubt this theory lizzy;fat deposits itself evenly throughout the body.besides,if you bulk-up "gradually"(by this i mean, increasing your caloric intake gradually) you will be avoiding an abundance of fat deposit.keep a close look at your waist...if your pants size is increasing, you're gaining fat...if it doesn't,then in my opinion, you're bulking the right way...slowly,but eventually, you'll get there.good luck!!!hope this helps.in addition,i noticed that when i took liquid l-carnitine from twinlab,i actually stayed "fairly" lean while bulking."food for thought"??? ------------------

In addition to speeding metabolism, all those substances inhibit the bodies ability to form fat, period. It has nothing to do with blocking the formation of fat specifically in the abdomen.

Spot reduction, hahahaha :^) I guess I will also let you know santa clause is not real. Marketing is evil, they will sell people the exact idea of what they are looking for. I do not believe in receptor sites accept for vitamin-s injections... |
