For tri's I do skull crushers with an ez bar. Do you all think thats a good exersize? Thats the only one i do, I quit focusing on hitting the muscle from different angles, i'm more about mass now.

All I do is heavy bench presses and parallel bar dips. They both work my tris very well.

I usually only did those two exercises that HIT said, but right now I am concentrating on getting my arms bigger.

Doing 1/2 rep partial's on bench press in the power rack really hit your tri's. I do close grips (2 heavy sets) and skull krushers (2 heavy sets also). I do my last set of skull krushers with a rectangle shaped 9 foot steel beam. It is hard to control and grip which makes it very good for my tri's.

I do close grip bench, skull crushers (french press) or triceps pushdowns. 2 sets of 2 excercises with 1 warmup on pushdowns.

Skull crushers with ez bar, and also with straight bar close grip, 1 arm tricep extensions, push downs (rope, or bar), kickbacks, seated french curls, standing french curls, and the most effective I believe is narrow grip bench press, with heavy weights (spotted). Obviously, not all in one workout. Pick say 3 or 4, do 3 or four sets of each, then change it next time you do them. Alternate through them all in your workouts. Keep changing them up!

I work my shoulder and traps first. Then I get to tris- Flat or slight incline skull crushers for three sets. Two sets of tri press downs. And one set of reverse grip one arm pull downs. All of the last two exercises are done to faliure.

Sometimes I do weighted dips as my second exercise.

I know that the close-grip bench press is a great excersize for your triceps but it hurts my wrists too much so I always skip on it. How close do you keep your wrists together and where should the bar be above your chest??? Also, smith machine or bb?? Sometimes I like to use and EZ bar (much less strain on my wrists) but since the weight is light, usually only as a burnout set.

I either can touch my thumbs if I stretch them out, or they are 1" apart, but I have larger wrists. Go wider if you have to. Place your hands just onto the grip part of the bar if you have to.

Let me know if you do not understand, I wrote it a little confusing.

If I'm doing close grips specifically for triceps (as specific and specific does) then I use a smith machine and my hands are about 6 inches apart (it hurts my wrists too).

The smith machine tends to hurt my shoulders. I can get in to the correct range of motion/curve for me that way.

i really find that close grips followed by a superset of rope pushdowns for 2 sets each followed by, wide grips on an ez curl bar for skull crushers for 2 sets

So today I will workout my triceps. Should I stick with the BB or go on the smith??? It seems most people complained about the smith machine.

For close grip bench don't go down all the way, your wrists won't strained that way. Yeah I know you'll hear about range of motion and blah blah blah, but it works. Try it and see.

I do three working sets of barbell bench press first, then two working sets of skull crushers/close grip bench.I just pick a weight i can do 5 good reps with for skullcrushers, then when i fail i just continue on with the same weight for close grip bench, you can usually grind out another 4 or 5. Great tricep mass builder, and it hits the inner pecs which have been pre exahusted through the benching.
