first off, are there any other compound movements besides bench, squat, deadlift, pull ups and dips?
and should you do these compound movements on seperate days or work them into your routine?
thanks

I feel that compound movement scheduling is going to be based more on your goals. For example if you are bodybuilding you'll probably want to do one or two compound movements per body part, then do some isolation movements. If you are powerlifting then you can get away with doing a whole bunch in the same day.

I always use compound movements in my routine. I rarely use isolation movements. The only time I will ever use them is for pre-exhaustion. I only use one compound movement per body part. I don't believe that there is a specific exercise that will target your "upper, lower, middle, inner and outer" pecs. Incline Bench, Decline Bench, Flat Bench and Dips hit your whole entire chest area. Recommend just using one compound movement per body part and focus on getting stronger on that specific movement.

More compound movements that I like to do.

Squats
Stiff-Leggs
Bench Press
Incline Bench Press
Close Grip Bench Press
Deadlifts
Cleans
High Pulls
Clean and Press
Barbell Shoulder Presses

I find that it is hard for me to incorporate these compound movts in one weeks worth of training. Very tough. I get as many in as possible though. I basically do compound movts only. I find that using them exclusively gives me the most for my size and strength. I do throw in some isolation movts for a different pace every once in a while though.

I do all 3 major lifts (squat, bench, deads) on one day. For my other days I start with one of the less major lifts like clean&press for shoulders, NG bench for arms, SL deads for legs and back etc. I like this cuz on my power day I can really get psyched-up. Some people say it's an energy drain, but I like it.

St. Bar curls are the most compound movt in my opinion. I really do not like doing these, so I switch them up frequently.
