About a two weeks ago, I felt a strange little dent in my right elbow, close by a small fragment. I diagnosed myself with a chipped elbow and thought of maybe going to see a doctor. But, it didn't hurt at all and wasn't restricting me or getting worse. So, i did some research and found out that the chips quickly decintagrated and the dent heals. This seems to be my case as the chip is almost gone and the dent is getting smooth again. By the way, I think it occured in a football game. What do you all think?

I once got a bone chip in my elbow and one on my shin from a motorcycle accident. I didn't see a doctor, and they healed by themselves. This was many years ago so I can't remember how long they took to heal.

If it doesn't hurt I wouldn't worry about it.

This is very common. If you got it in a football game, this is a minor injury in all likelihood.

Those of us who played hockey as 130 lb. kids with light equipment (or loose elbow pads) remember smashing our bare elbow on the ice every time we were tripped. I had more fragments floating around in my left elbow...

Even still, nothing serious, no need for surgery, eventually it pretty much completely healed.

Sometimes guys need surgery for this, but most docs will tell you it's not necessary unless you are a major league pitcher or something.

I suppose a symptom of this is bloated elbow? back while I was in Jiu-Jitsu, I had smashed my elbow numerous times (hip throw, other techniques) thing blew up like a balloon. with liquid inside. and when it went away, it would take but a little tap to bring it back... all this is gone now tho.
