It would be helpful if you posted your Chest routine. but here goes: emphasis on incline movements. do an incline movement first. Incline Dumbell press 3 sets done. shoulder movements such as military press will also help upper chest development. ------------------ quote:

I agree also with Valdez in doing inclines first. One thing that has also helped me with the upper chest is reducing the angle on the incline to about 30 degrees or even slightly less. I have strong shoulders so if the incline is higher than 30 degrees they tend to come into the movement and take the emphasis away from the upper chest area.

try a narrow (shoulder width)grip on the inclines. the upper pec fibers run almost vertical, so it helps recuit them. Your tris will get nailed too, but the upper/inner chest pump is unbelievable.

Valdez hit the nail on the head...that should do the trick...later, man

Another thing I like to do for upper chest is inclining the bench less. That way you isolate the upper chest better and somewhat hit front delts. ------------------ "how much can you really know about yourself if you've never been in a fight?" Tyler Durden |
