Do any of you guys ever cramp really bad after doing a lot of rowing-motion exercises like on back day? My brachioradialis (top of my forearm) and biceps always cramp after back day. I'm not on creatine (not for about 6 mos.) and drug free. Any suggestions as to why and how to stop it?

I'm up for a midnight snack.

I wouldn't use wraps. if your getting a sufficient back workout then deal with the pain. make sure your diet is sufficient, and you should make some gains on your forearms. they will soon adapt to the stress of a good back workout.

It used to happen to me for about 6 months, now my biceps tend to cramp just as much as my forearms after a back day. it's natural.

theBull is right on the potassium. Supplement it. small amounts ought to help.

Well, the pain doesn't bother me and its not so much the cramping itself that bothers me, but I just thought I might be doing something wrong...diet or training wise. I just wanted to know if this is common to anyone else as well and what they did to rectify it or if it needed addressing. I noticed that it is much worse when I'm on creatine. Yeah, the water and potassium help too, I've done that. Also I try not to sqeeze my grip and arms too much and pull with my back rather than arms. Thanks for the advice.

Try to drink as much water as possible while training to stop the body from cramping.
