I have seen great results quickly with this routine (and I'm a hardgainer):

Warmup:
Three sets of pullups to failure. 30 second rest in between sets

5 sets of front pulldowns to failure(8-12 reps)

5 sets of close grip bent over rows

4 sets of wide grip rows (cable or machine)

3 sets of ONE ARM bent over dumbell rows (or machine equivalent)

This is for once a week only. If you work out the same group every 5 days, remove one set from each exercize.

Bro, All i do for back is Shrugs (barbell) and seated cable row,
This works well for me, it is the same method I have
used since I began training.
Shrugs,
Warm up with 1 set x 60kilos
" " 1 set x 140 kilos
warm up with 1 set x 220 kilos
First working 1 set x 300 kilos
second worki set x 340kilos
then 3 more working set with 260 kilos

then I jump to seated cable row, with a close grip attachment,
and do four failure sets with the whole stack on.

Lat Pulldown 2 x 7-9*
Prone Row 2 x 7-9*
Barbell Shrug 2 x 7-9*
Deadlift 1 x 12-20 to failure

Do 2-3 warm up sets on the first back exercise and on deadlifts.

*Take your last set to complete muscle failure.
