Hi, i guess i should post this in the diet discussion board, but no one ever post over there,any way, some one at work told me that eating meat and milk in the same meal is not good for you,she said it was really hard to digest,she did not say why,does any one have any evidence to back this up ? i eat steaks at least 4 times a week.. | ||

I've never came across that one before. Because of the protein content of milk and steak, she may be alluding to the misconception of how much protein a person can digest in one sitting. Ask her to provide a reference. ------------------ | ||

I drink milk with every meal except for dinner because I enjoy some ICE COLD WATER with that big of a meal. They both go to the same place... so what the hell's the big deal? My mom is always like: "What? You're going to drink milk with pizza??? What? You're going to drink milk with sub???" YES! I AM. -Warik | ||

Where the hell did you get that from ?? I drink 5pints of milk a day, and have beef once daily, beef i great for boosting your creatine levels, loaded with protein, and so is the milk, get stuck in to it.!! ------------------ | ||

I do drink a lot of milk,almost a gallon a day,and as stated in my first post i eat steaks daily,like those kind you find in the meat deparment,that weight 1.5 pounds, i never eat one that is less than 1 pound, if it is less than 1 pound then i get 2 and just eat all i can...the person who made this claim that meat and milk in the same meal is bad,is a woman i work with,she asked me what i eat and that is what i told her...the irony is ,she is fat...and pretend's to be a health nut..LOL..i was just wondering if there was any truth to it? | ||

its funny your asking about milk and steak cause along ass time a go i did like a steak and skim milk diet and i really wasnt trying to lose weight just trying to stick to something. and in about 1 month i had lost 10 pounds! i didnt see anything wrong with it. i should have eaten more broccolli but thats another story |
