Abso fuckin lutley, it is the ONLY way to train, I train
three days out of seven and use only heavy weights and
intense sets, makes you grow like a Mother.

I have been training for about 13 months now. At first I did nothing but machines. I then switched to almost all freeweights. Now I use about 2 to 3 exersizes per body part. Heavy exersizes like squat, leg press, deadlift, barbell shoulder shrugs, barbell curls, etc, etc. I have been growing ever since. I keep it within 6 to 8 reps with as much weight as I can handle with good form. Its the best way to train.

Me too. I love it. Twice a week for me, and the way I train, it kills me.

are you guys saying that you only workout 2 or 3 times a week?

I'm no bodybuilder but damn, that sounds boring, only 2 or 3 days of the thing you love to do??

do you train on the other days or are you just saying that you do the high intensity stuff on those days and other type of training on alternate days?

I used to lift 4 days a week. Then went to 3, now 2 days lifting a week. I also now have a day just for strongman event training. There is not a way that I could train any more...I am always sore somewhere and I do compound movts only. That means that there are always many muscles that are sore, so they must have time to recoup.

Can I get an A Men for heavy and hard

I just started doing a routine I got from a post in HITs site. It consists of two excerses per body part, two sets to failure per excersise. I love it. I knew for months now that I was overtraining and robbing myself of strength and growth. I am going to do this workout for eight weeks them switch to a push/pull leg routine.

It just makes more sense. Sometimes i see people doing;
incline bb press
incline db press
flat BB press
flat db press
incline flies
crossovers.
What the heck is that?!?!?!

Incline press
flat flies

thats basically all you need for your chest. 2 sets each.
I train my whole upper body in one workout session. I find it makes more sense because any exercise you do works all of your muscles. In my eyes it just makes sense. Plus I love the full upper body pump I get.
