Does anybody have a link to a good site with proper dead lift technices. I'm new to lifting and feel as if I'm going to do back damage when I dead lift. I want to do it correctly.

The guy asked for some legit advice on training crash. No need to flame him for that. My advice to you is to stop being such a dick.

Crash

You need to back off and give the guy a break! We all start somewhere and no question is too stupid to ask. I respect him for not wanting to mess up his back and asking the question. And then you come along and try to discourage the guy with intimidation! Well you don't intimidate me.I've been lifting for over 16 years and I have seen your kind over and over come and go.

Robert

off hand I don't know where there is a site that it explains the deadlift but I will keep looking bro.

Robert,
Try this site: http://gymamerica.com/gymamerica/exercise/ga_exercise_animated_demos/1,3124,,00.html

It has demos for most lifting exercises. I hope this helps.

Hey Super Dave!

Fantastic site man! This site will help me alltot because I have clients that I communicate with through e-mail and the web. Sometimes it's hard for me to explain to somebody how to do a particular exercise and a picture's worth a thousand words. I have a simular animated site to refer to but it wouldn't help Robert because it didn't have a demo of the deadlift. And this one is better anyways because it has 10 times the demos. Thanks man I owe you one!

I have bad knees so I do sumos. I couldn't take the pain from shoulder width. just basically keep reps less than 6 or 7 on all sets. I also see guys sometimes racking the weight the unrack and start. leave the weight on the ground unless adding or taking weight away. kick ass man
