Sounds great for gaining strenght, but doesn't sound too good for bodybuilding purposes.

With that type of program your body will grow unevenly, you have no excercises dedicated to shoulders or back... and that is a big con.

I suggest you split your bodyparts during workouts ex: back and biceps... and work every body part.

I saw your diet on the Diet Board, and it looks solid, with a bit of improvement on your training you'll be growing.

Wouldn't you agree that Barbell Rows is a back exercise and Push Presses are a shoulder exercise? How can you say that he doesn't have any exercises that are dedicated to shoulders or back? Rows and push presses are some of the best compound movements, when used correctly. Also, let me remind you that his shoulders are already getting worked from bench presses and his back is getting worked from squats and deadlifts. I believe the compound exercises he's using are very productive. And you stated that his body will grow unevenly. Which parts of his body were you referring to?

To Big Calvin,
If you train to failure, I believe your shoulders will be too sore to bench on Wednesday. But maybe not. If they are too sore, try this variation of your routine.

Monday
Squats
Bench with slight decline
Barbell Row

Wednesday
Hammer Curl
Wrist Curl
Standing Calf Raise

Friday (Compound
Push Press
Close Grip Bench Press
Shrug

I recommend trying 20 rep squats and deadlifts. They are killer. The 6-8 rep range is good to use, but change your calf raises to 12-20 reps. At my gym I can do the whole entire calf raise stack with one leg and by doing only 10 reps won't get the job done for me. 20 reps always murder my calves. Let me know how it goes.

That's what I forgot to add in the routine. Yes, it would be a good idea to put in Sumo Deadlifts on Wednesday. Let me know how it goes.
