I have big legs for my 6' frame. I have always done "ass to the floor" squats, deadlifts and lunges for leg days. Forget about those useless leg presses, extentions, and hamstrings bullshit. It just doesn't do much.

Heavy calves are the key and if they still don't grow, use PGF2 on those calves (if you have the balls to deal with the pain).

This may be off topic, but what factor does height have to do with leg training? Is there anything different besides the range of motion? Please, educate me. I'm curious to see what difference would be if a shorter person and a taller person did the same leg routine. The results of course would be different. But does it have to do with height? I don't believe so. It has more to do with genetics than anything else. There's no reason why a taller and a shorter person should train differently, the same goes for males and females. Understand my point?

I'm 6'4 and I usually stick to squats, front squats, and stiff legged deadlifts.

I am 6-3 and I still do squats even though I may not be great at it. I go very low, with not a wholle lot of rest in between. My sets and reps change like everything else. I did sissy squats the other day with leg curls. I have not been on a leg press in a long time. I am commited to squats and my thighs are the biggest bodypart I have. I could skip squats like a lot of people but I am commited.

Squats, presses and lunges. Squats I cant go to the floor (hurts my knees) but I go at least 90 degress down. I am 6' even and I think my legs look pretty good. Extensions can be good for warm ups and is easier to contract the muscles in my opion.

I'm 6'2" leg day kinda like this

squats 3-4 sets 10 or 15 reps heavy as I can

press 3-4 sets 10 or 15 reps heavy as I can

leg curl 3-4 sets 20 or 30 reps
or
stiff leg dead lifts 3-4 sets 15 reps

I usaly finish with extentions 30 reps 3-4 sets.

Now I change it every week but that is the basics trough in some lunges or ball suats to change tings and keep it painfull.

ATG Squats, thats the staple of my leg routine. I am 6'4", it took a long time to develop smooth form at this height. They work the Glutes, Hams, Quads, Calves, and Lower back, I lov'em. If they hurt your knees use less weight and go slower. You can't expect to go ATG with the same weight you go parallel with.

I am 6'1" with long legs for my frame. I have seen the best development in quads when I started placing a 2" by 4" piece of wood underneath my heels during any squatting-type motion (i.e. free-weight squats, Smith machine squats, hacks). It keeps taller people like us from having to bend so far over to compensate for weight balancing and places less strain on the lower back. Oh yeah, I always preexhaust with heavy extensions so that the quads fatigue first on the squats instead of glutes or thigh adductors. Good luck.
