I continue to here debates about training muscles once or twice per week...Truthfuly i wonder if you are overtraining by working each muscle 2 times per week? I have for the last 2 years went to a 2 per week split but now i am considering going to a 1 time per week split>>>>>I have 2 questions what is your training preference and why? ANd when on gear should you change your plan? Thanks.

I prefere working a muscle twice a week, that works pretty well for me. As long as you space out the workouts for that muscle group, it isn't overtraining. But if you hit the same muscle directly on different days back to back, then it could be overtraining because you're not giving the muscle enough time to recover. And it is very important to do different exercise for that muscle group on that second day.

As far as gear is concern, I never touch the stuff and don't believe in it so I can't say whether you should change or not.
