Has anybody thrown up while working out? I was on the leg press today trying to push out my last rep, and it happened to me. I didn't throw up very much, just a mouth full.

I ate about 2 hours before my workout, so I don't think that was the problem. Is it possible that I was pushing it too hard?

I've seen guys get nose bleeds from dead lifting. T-Bar rows make me want to puke sometimes. It just means you are working hard. No big deal.

They say you know it's a leg workout when you throw up. Don't worry about it. I figure I haven't done enough heavy squats until my ass hits the floor - five seconds AFTER I've finished a set!

I have only ever puked on leg day. Try not eating much of anything at least an hour before stepping under the bar. Works for me...

Before every leg or back workout, I go into a bathroom stall, stick my finger down my throat, and force myself to vomit. That way, during the workout, you might gag, but nothing will come out.

Barf on the leg press??? That's a first. Have on squats, deads, and cleans. That's about it.

Just about every time I work out I get to the point of almost letting it fly. I get those nasty burps and I have to sit down for a couple of minutes. To me, it's the sign of a hard ass workout. I thinks it's a normal reaction for guys that are really pushing themselves. Unlike the skinny dudes who do 12 burn-out sets of tricep kickbacks.

I try to squat till I puke every once in a while just to make sure I can keep that level of intensity. Squats are the only thing that hurts bad enough to make it happen. If I have a very intense workout I will puke approx 30 - 40 min after.
