i read an article that stated interval training is the most effective way to burn fat. This is what the program stated:

start out with a 30sec jogg and then sprint for 30 sec up to four min and then you are done and every other workout you shoul add another 30sec jogg and 30sec sprint until you reach 15 minutes and then take a week off

it will work out to a eight week program

It stated that this program will get you ripped.

need som input guys what ya think?

I've been doing this type of cardio for years now and it works pretty well for me. If you look at some sport specific training I think you'd agree that this type of excercise promotes low bodyfat and high muscle mass compared to long duration aerobics. I hate doing long, boring cardio work so for me it's great. Diet is a very important aspect of losing BF also though. I usually stay in the 8% BF range. Good enough to see abs anyway. I may get in the 6% range every now and then when I really try, otherwise it's right around 8. That's based on skin caliper test.
