I used to hate to do chest since it was my weakest bodypart. I loved doing squats though. Now that I've concentrated on it more and made decent gains in size and strength I kinda like it. I'm into powerlifting so I love the "Big 3". But I know what you mean about all those pencil necks in the gym only doing chest and arms-every f'n day their in the gym. Mon-Thursday (since they take Friday off to go out and take the weekends off as well). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

If you train your chest daily, you will definetly overtrain. You need to allow your muscles to recover so you can hit it hard again. When you overtrain you WILL stop gaining strength. Overtraining is like this: Compare it to an earthquake. Work your muscles hard and they get torn down. Give them protein and time and they begin to repair themselves. If you start cleaning up the mess from the earthquake and then have another one the next day, you have an even bigger mess. Take at least 2 days off in a row if you want to make gains. Then hit it hard again. There are plenty of other body parts that need working also; and don't forget cardio to stay lean. By the way, I love how my chest looks after training hard too. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

my favorite exercise by far is dips. i look forward to them every chest/tri workout. sure i like to work chest, who doesn't...but i also love squatting and deadlifting. i'd say it's a tie between the big three(behind dips) because they all do so much in just one movement. my least favorite exercise is doing cable rows on back day...for some reason i can't stand doing them but i do anyways. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Being honest, chest is probably my least favorite body part to work. I'd take a back workout anyday. I just love doing bodyweight pull-ups as many as possible, then strapping some weight to myself and doing as many possible.
