I visited my friend,he's 49years old, after finding out that he collapsed some time last week,I'm shocked to see him he don't look like a man who works out all his life, when his brother send him to hospital, they did a blood test & doctors immediately flushed his blood from his kidney(I'm not sure what it means)now there's tube attached to his neck, his brother told me that doctors said he will be on dialysis(damaged kidney)& doctors advised his brother not to consumed cola drink that contains 'aspartame'.However I'm not sure whether it's aspartame is the cause, I suspected "AS" he's into it heavily.

I must agree with you. All I've heard about aspartame is that it can mess up your neurotransmitters. Sounds like AS to me. Good luck to your friend, I hope he recovers fully.

i'm not sure about the aspartame stuff, but i do know most supplements and AS will damage either kidneys and/or liver. Even something simple as creatine affects your kidneys, protein affects kidneys, vit.C is what is found in 90% of cysts, l-glutamine has been known to enlarge the organs in your body, ephedrine can actually help hypertension (elevated blood press) and arrythmias (irregular pulse) to form, too many antioxidants becomes toxic in your system, and that's not even going into AS yet which can really cause serious problems. There are many older people with elevated liver enzymes, liver cancer, kidney infections, etc. but with AS i think you're speeding up the process, no matter how much u think you're taking care of yourself. Repair for kidneys may be possible, but liver repair is a different story. sorry if i've gone out of the subject here a little bit but since we were talking about toxins like aspartame and AS just thought i'd put in my $.02

I agree with both of you,I think it must be 'AS' Risky you seem to say that kidney can recover, do you know of any supplement or herbs that can help him recover.I don't want to lose a friend, any help from any of you is greatly appreciated.

I would have to state that it is not 'uncommon' for a man at his age to have problems of this sort...I am not stating that it is an everyday thing, but this is the age group that you begin seeing these disorders. IF he is into steroids, then it maybe kidney damage related to hypertension, which steroids are known to cause. Another cause maybe diabetic related kidney damage, since high glucose levels damage the kidneys. But even with all these hypotheses, it maybe some natural disease progression that is unrelated to all of these factors. Too many times people want to look for obvious factors, even when the person is in age groups who are most susceptable to illnesses.

take the meds the doc gives stay away from these products and AS especially take care of yourself, no alcohol, drink water, cranberry juice, etc. that's what you have to do, or basically only thing u can really do. maybe u can go with detox supplement also... just a thought.. |
