I eat plenty of food/calories/protein, but I need something convenient to blend up between meals. What's good for bulking? An MRP? A high quality weight-gainer?

I take lots of rice & feel that it gives me energy,I don't believe in MRP but if you like then try buying from www.proteinfactory.com it's cheap and you get the real deal.

I agree, get some form of powder from the proteinfactory. They carry awesome products sure to put meat on your bones. ------------------

Don't use weight gainers. They are just excess calories from carbs that are mostly from sugar. If you "must" get a weight gainer, Twinlab has something called Mass Fuel. It's high in calories and has no added sugar. It has 600 calories, 0 grams of fat, 100 grams of carb and 50 grams of protein. To tell you the truth, I cannot drink this product, it's just too nasty and thick. I recommend a good Meal Replacement. Try Muscle Link's MRP, Muscle Meals. It's very good. It has around 300 calories, 11 grams of EFAs, 18 grams of low glycemic carbs, 40 grams of protein and 10 grams of glutamine peptide. I also use Growth Factor X, but I only buy that when I have extra money. You can get good prices for Muscle Meals at www.netrition.com It's the lowest price you'll find it at. Hope this helps. Netrition also has other good MRP's at good prices. ------------------

It really depends on what you're willing to pay...EAS's Myoplex MASS or Myolplex Plus Deluxe are good, but expensive...Labrada's LEAN BODY tastes good and isn't too much $$, but it's only like 300 calories, so you might want to add a scoop of whey...or, just make your MRPs with skim milk/2% milk, depending on how much bulking you're trying to do... ------------------ |
