I have been working out for about 2 years and have seen tremendous gains- but I had a LONG way to go. It seems I have reached a standstill- I have a better shape now but I can't seem to shake those last pounds around my mid-section- I also seem to be slowing down on the muscle building- I would appreciate any advice from you guys who know what you are doing to help me out. | ||

definately need more info. You can also try diet disc. board here too, very informative. But need to know how many meals a day you're consuming? how many carbs? what diet you're on? how many calories per day? how many grams of protein per day? weight? BF%? supplements using? how often u train? etc. if you really want help this info is important. What has helped me when i try to shed and save muscle is do light jog/walk for 45min. before breakfast. and or sometimes after a workout, but that's a bit more catabolic to muscles i think.. Supplements that have helped.. MD6, glutamine, ALA Food, stay away from simple carbs, and try not to eat carbs after 4pm. And try to eat 6 meals a day with at least 1.5g of protein per pound of weight. Just a tip for you though because it seems like you want to add muscle and lose some fat at the same time. Focus on one, then do the other. Unless you're on gear, you wont be able to do both. You either have to go into catabolic state to burn some fat, and try not to lose too much muscle, or you go into anabolic state where u may gain a little fat, along with some muscle size. |
