BackDoc, I've been trying to get a hold of you for a while. I have e-mailed you several times asking about several diff. things but your prevhealth e-mail must not work anymore. Anyways, if you could, please e-mail me sometime at [email protected] (no e in cybr) so that I can e-mail you back with a couple of questions. I had put a similar post on the anabolic board with no success. Thanks again. -LuckyDog-

Sorry not to respond earlier, but I don't really like to reply to private emails. If you'll give me an idea of what you'd like me to respond to then I'll help as best I can. Other than that, I'll only help by way of the public forum. Take care

Hey BackDoc, . We spoke a couple of months ago and I told you I wanted to become a Chiropractor and a C.C.N. Don't worry I still want to do that, but I read your post about the new Fat loss drug that is in testing right now. I was wondering how I could find out about this and other up to date information about new possible helpful products that are currently coming out. BTW, which Chiro school did you get your Degree from?? I was thinking about Palmer, and also since College is only a year away for me, I heard that pretty much all students who are going to get a DC need to get a Bachelors now before Chiro school. Do you know anything about this, or what the Bachelors would be in?? Thanks -LuckyDog- P.S. This is a copy of my actual letter that I sent. Thanks again ------------------

Sorry for the abruptness earlier. I forgot that I'd already spoken with you before. As to the new fat loss drugs, I have a good friend who is a researcher and is privy to such information. I really can't tell you the best way to find out about such new research except to give it time and make contacts. As far as getting a bachelor's degree, some states like Florida require chiropractors to have one before they enter chiropractic school. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but those are the rules. Every state is different so be sure to know the state laws where you might like to live before you go through the program. If you want a little free advice, be sure that being a chiropractor is what you want to do most in the world. The schooling is very tough. My brother is a medical doctor and he and I have compared notes and he says he thinks the two programs are pretty much the same in terms of study requirements. So get used to the idea of not having a lot of free time. It's a tough road and there will be times you might want to quit, but it is a very rewarding field. I hope that answers your questions...be sure to let me know if I can help. Take care and good luck! |
