I went to the fridge the other day at my friends house and his girlfriend had cases of slim-fast in there so i picked one up and looked at it. vitamin content is good but its missing something...protien, only 10grams. easy to fix...add a scoop or 2 of your whey. that shit cost less then a dollar a piece..plus your whey. give it a shot

If you're trying to bulk up I doubt that mixture is going to do much for you. Just my opinion. After all, its called "Slim Fast" for a reason. Get a cheap MRP for $1.50 a packet and you'll be better off. Add some flax oil and you'll have a good high-protein meal replacement.

Slim fast is a scam just like every other supplement out there. It is what it is...nothing more. it holds no secrets or fat burning shit. its got vitamins and minerals, just add some more protien and its an MRP. all MRP's that are so special to have Glutamine and every thing else dont nearly have enough to do anything. so the slim fast is no different with an added scoop of whey. and the guy that got the metaform for 6 bucks. you might wanna use like half of those packets if you use the whole thing it has a texture similar to cookie batter and taste like shit ------------------

I would stay away from the slim fasts. From what I've heard they are extremely poor quality. Look who they are marketing them do. Do you think overweight housewives have any concept of what they are eating. The protein is of low quality and the carbs are high glycemic. Your much better off buying a bulk MRP.

Most MRP's don't have enough carbs. I usually just take 1/4 a serving of a weight-gainer.

You can buy MRPs for a good price at www.netrition.com I just looked into a few MRP's for you. Another good deal I saw was Sports Pharma's MRP (Nutri Force 20 packets) selling for $27.95. That's very cheap. They also have volume discounts. You can get Nutri Force for as low as $24.95. Shipping is a flat rate of $4.95. Check it out. ------------------ |
