Before I buy I'm looking for info on the best mixing and tasting. Don't want to invest $$ in something that is undrinkable..

Check out the protein factory. I do not think you should go by taste at all. If it taste good it can't be good for you.

you know the protein factory prices are ok, but I know that they aren't as a great a buy as some people like to think, for instance take a look at their whey protein concentrates, they sell them for 4.89 per pound at 5 lbs it averages out to approximately 25.00, alot of other places on the web sell brands by major producers for less than that and it's even flavored. So I'm not as impressed as most are about their prices. I for one know that Davisco, which produces say a WPC product sells their protein for approx. about 2.55 per pound, so what the protein factory is doing is practically doubling their priice when they sell to the consumer, so you see it's not as great as all these guys keep telling you, the only thing they have that probably is unique that alot of these other companies don't is their variety, but I pretty much their a middle man in this market, and I'm still trying to find a direct manufactor who will sell without having to use a middle man to up the price of these proteins.

I would have to disagree with rancid. I really do not care about the price or taste. I just care about results. Another thing I think is true here is all of these other producers of protein are saying they are putting all of this stuff in it, but I doubt it greatly. I bet it is mostly sugar. The protein factory could be saying and doing the same, but something tells me they are as close to there specs as you are going to get.

For taste, I believe that Promax and Pro 55 are good. They are low in sugar and high in protein. The protein powder I recommend is Muscle Link's MRP (Muscle Meals) and their protein powder (Pro Fusion). The both tase pretty good. Muscle Meals has 40 grams of protein, 18 grams of carbs, 11 grams of anti-catabolic fats (MCTs) and 10 grams of glutamine peptide. Pro Fusion has 45 grams of protein, 6 grams of carb, 2.5 grams of fat and 10 grams of glutamine peptide. You can get them at the best prices at www.netrition.com they have volume discounts and shipping is $4.95 per order. You can try a free sample of Muscle Meals at www.ironmanmagazine.com just click on 'Free Stuff' on the menu. These products should be used after workouts.

This goes to Decadon if he reads this since he is a big proponent of proteinfactory.com..
What formulas do you use, or do you buy there formulas? Do you have any suggestions on what to purchase from the proteinfactory?
What about a formula for something that tastes good, is their sweetner enough or should I use something like maltodextine or dextrose in my MRP that I am thinking about getting them to make? Does flaxseed oil help make shake thicker? All help will greatly be appriciated

guys that have questions on profact...email me a [email protected] is the deal guys...they meet label claims...they actually put in what they say they have..and they will flavors the mixes...and when done it tastes just as well as the big names...I like most of their formulas...the night time form is a great idea for mass and bulk...post training formula is great as well...the bulk with the egg is cheap and you can go wrong with it...they have the cheapest flax and hemp oil prices around..and if you have any questions for them...they reply in less than a day....not too shabby...big name companies do not always meet label claims...and guess what...they don't have to...none of the supplements you guys buy..have to meet label claims...kinda makes you think...take a scoop of the your favorite big name pro and get the same thing from pro factory...guarentee you will never stray from the factory again....and they will always have something new like the rice protein...great for you veggibarterianss...hahahahah..good luck fellas
