I ordered 4 90 serving containers of Betagen and I don't believe I gained anything from it. I got suckered in to Bill Phillips clever marketing scheme.

Thanks Franchise,
I love the myoplex lite and was thinking on trying the betagen but havent had enough feedback on it. Maybe i'll try Labrada's creatine cooler.

Now, what is so cool with Labrada Creatine Cooler? Go and buy straight creatine, it is a lot cheaper. Look at the ingredients in Cooler and tell me one reason why Cooler should be cooler than regular creatine. If some of you guys would learn how to read labels properly, you wouldn't get suckered into buying all the crap. Betagen contains HMB (besides a little creatine), so what did you expect? A miracle? Nobody gains anything off from HMB.

Testoman,
Labrada's creatine is sugar-free, thats why im thinking on trying it. I hear alot about taking straight creatine with some kind of juice. I try to keep sugars to a minimum so i dont want to mix it with a cup of grape juice or something like that. Make sense?????
Betagen, yep....i've read the label and i know whats in it. Thanks for bringing label reading to my attention though!

lol..good one testo man...
now leanchick are you trying to get lean on creatine, cause thats stupid all together, the
water retention will make you look like fat swedish boy...
and if your not trying to get lean than why cut sugars unless, your diabetic.
a little post workout carbs with your creatine wont hurt anyways and i dont think creatine absorbs much without it.
and what the hell is so coll about creatine cooler any ways theres so many brands that make straight creatine anyways...
forget betagen hmb is a joke...
forget cooler, forget creatine forget working out ,forget life..
forgot to wipe my ass..gotta go..

you can always try diffrent training methods to increase your lifts..rather than searching for a supplement a brand new routine will kick you into high gear in no time.or you can always try things like negative or isometrics,or secondary muscle work.
post your routine and ill try to help u out..

Sourjerk,
I've tried different things. I usually work my hardest area first. For example on shoulders i do side raises first because thats what im weakest on. I've tried super-setting, negatives, drop sets, forced reps ect..
I try to mix up my routine every few weeks to a month.
The area i really want to improve on is shoulders. I am stuck at 20 lb front raises and 15 pounds on sides for what seems FOREVER!

this may sound crazy but i advise you to stop working your shoulders completley for a month....
shoulders are probably the most over worked muscle on bodybuilders they are involved in nearly every exercise, and therfore never get a chance to grow..give them a bit of rest...
it sounds like you might be beating them into
the extremeties due to frustration of lack of growth..
after a month you can resume your shoulder training..give them no more than three sets per deltoid, and stay in the 10-12 range..
after your shoulders will heal im sure youll be surprised at your growth results..
anouther thing you should do during this month is concentrate on big areas like back and legs, the body usually doesnt like to put on too much weight in one place and will therefore distribute it throughout the body...
have you ever noticed how huge some powerlifters arms are while theyve never done a single curl in thier life...their intire physique developed on squats , dead lifts, and benches...
hope this helps ..

LeanChick,
I am aware that Labrada Creatine Cooler is so cool because it makes a cool drink without sugar. So, which of it's fancy ingredients is so cool to make Creatine Cooler much cooler than plain ole gritty creatine? Please don't lecture me on those cool ingredients in Creatine Cooler, I know how cool they are. But tell me, which one is the coolest, besides good ole creatine?

hey leanchick, maybe a 2 week break from working out will help, could be your overtrained a may require a break, also i've gotten good results by taken an ephedra/stimulant type product prior to working out if I ever get stuck in a poundage rut and all other things ( rest, recovery and training variety, etc. ) are in order, try one of these and maybe one of them may help.

Thanks for your input sourjerk.
Im sure taking a brake from training shoulders will help but honestly i cant see myself not working them for a whole month. I know they get worked while i work chest ect..but it doesnt feel the same to me. Maybe i need to do less sets for a while.
