Someone may be able to help. I have heard and read that in some cases creatine can cause secondary diabeties, or diabetic like symptons. Now, my problem is that I have started to sweat a lot, just the underarms, but even in air conditioning. It has been happening for a while. I also sometimes get hyperglycimic (?) type symptons where I feel light headed and dizzy but when I have a sports drink I fell normal again. A doctor checked my blood and said it was fine. but I am thinking this: when I take creatine I take it with gloucose, blood sugar rises, producing insulin, transporting creatine better, and going back to normal. Could it be this rise and fall in blood sugar due to the glucose that is causing these diabetic like symptons, or, is the sweating caused by the body expeling some of the excess fluids retaind due to the creatine. I am going to look further into this but thought some of you may be able to comment. Thanks. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I also have had this phenomenon. I use creatine with dextrose, ALA, Vanadyl Sulfate, BMOV, chromium picolinate, zinc, magnesium, Vitamin C, and Taurine. I probably just use too much of the cell volumizers, but I also have felt lethargy, dizzyness, etc, and after I eat a meal, I feel better, even if it isn't a high glycmic meal. I'd be interested in hearing more about this also. IP: Logged |

If you're diabetic and you want to take creatine, I recommend Labrada's Creatine Cooler. It's a good product. I've used it in the past. It has a creatine transport system that is sugar free. Maybe this may help? Also drink a lot of water. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Get Huge - I intend to look into this more and I'll post what I find. it is just wierd that I have had these symptons twice , each time I was on or nearly finished creatine ------------------ IP: Logged |
