Dudes, everytime I take a multivitamin it turns my urine bright yellow. Is this normal or should I see a doctor? IP: Logged |

It's normal; one of the B vitamins is responsible for yellow color. Nothing to worry about. IP: Logged |

Yes it's normal. The color shows how effective the vitamins are. One time I was taking Animal Pak and vitamin supplement from Universal Nutrition. The color of my urine wasn't very bright or yellow. Meaning, the vitamins were't getting absorbed properly. Here's a good tip when it comes to buying vitamins. Always buy them in capsule form. Capsules work better. Animal pak were in tablets. hey bro i've never seen vitamins in capsule form. Where can i get? I know caps are better, and in a lot of vitamins it depends on the doage of B vitamins and how much water u drink affects that neon yellow color in your piss. IP: Logged |

I've always heard the yellow color is due to your body not using the vitamins, ie, a waste of $. Maybe try a smaller dose. IP: Logged |

B vitamins are water soluble, they turn your urine bright yellow when the excess flows out i believe. This is normal, just drink lots of water. Water soluble vitamins are not toxic IP: Logged |

I buy my vitamins at www.prosourceonline.com I use Twinlab vitamins. I use Maxi Life vitamins. They're like 25 bucks for 50 days worth. You can also go to www.netrition.com and buy Twinlab's Two A Day vitamins. They're like 25 bucks but it lasts almost three months. Good stuff. Another bad thing about tablets is that they're coated with weird crap. I've heard that the coating can be bad, but I don't know.
