One cap has 50mg, i get up and do cardio at 7:00am for 30mins of jogging then home and at 3:30pm i do heavy weights. When is it best to take the L-glutamine? Thanks in advance. And im also on xenadrine, 2 caps in morn before cario and 30mins before heavy workout in the afternoon.thanks again. IP: Logged |

Ok first off, dont take the capsules, there is not enough glutamine per capsule for any results. I think you said there were 50mg, there's 4500mg per teaspoon of mine which is powder and equals 5 grams and I take it three times a day. I take it three times a day, when I wake up, after my lifting, and before I go to bed. I hope this helps. Also can I ask how many cap's you plan on taking a day. Just to add in, I love xenadrine, lost 45lbs on it. IP: Logged |

You can take up to 20 grams (4 tsp) of glutamine a day, but all you really need is 10 grams. You should take one tsp 45 minutes after training and one tsp before you go to bed. If you want you can also do this. Take one tsp 45 minutes before training, 45 minutes after training and before bed. IP: Logged |

your body best absorbs glutamine 2g at a time, so evenly dispurse this during the day.( before and after: optimal times on empty stomach) IP: Logged |

Actually, the best source of glutamine is glutamine peptide. Most of it is absorbed. L-glutamine is never absorbed 100%. Only about 40% of it is absorbed. I recommend taking a protein powder that contains glutamine peptide. Dorian Yate's protein powder has 10 grams of glutamine peptide, it's called Pro Peptide. I use Muscle Link's protein powder called, Pro Fusion. Pro Fusion has pretty much the same ingredients as Yate's products, but Pro Fusion has less fat. IP: Logged |

i ordered some glutamine peptides from the protein factory (www.proteinfactory.com). i like it a lot, but beware... it's very bitter. IP: Logged |

Got a question about L-glutimine here. A buddy of mine told me that taking l-glutamine orally can lead to bloating, but this is the same guy that pushed bio-test on me. Is this true? Or is this just some crap he made up. IP: Logged |
