Deca, hemp oil is great...but it doesn't seem to come cheap. The best deal I've been able to find was about 9 bucks for a 8 ounce container. Flax seed is much cheaper and is a great supplement as well. I use the flax for cost sake. I keep mine in the fridge, but I don't think it is absolutely necessary unless your house is usually kept warm. Some sources say keep it in the fridge, but I'm not convinced it is essential. Sometimes cold oil tastes rough. IP: Logged |

Flax oil should be refridgerated, since the omega-3 fatty acids are easily susceptable to oxidation. The cold temp. slows down this process. I usually buy mine then add BHT to slow the process down even more. BHT is cheap, but if I could get a good source of nordihydroguaretic acid, I would prefer it. IP: Logged |

YO cockdezl- where do you get BHT (does it slow down the oxidation process). I always keep mine in the fridge, and if it's not all used in 3-4 wks it starts to taste funky. ...IF YOUR NOT BLEEDING, DO ANOTHER SET... ------------------ IP: Logged |

Thanks for the correction Dezl, do you know if about 2 weeks is enough time for the Omega 3's to oxidize? That's about how long my bottles last. Thanks. IP: Logged |

DOC, two weeks refridgerated should not be a problem. BHT is a fat soluble antioxidant and can be bought from Beyond-A-Century.com, they have Twinlabs BHT caps or 300gram bottle of BHT. I like the 300gram bottle, costs about $8.00. IP: Logged |
