Just wondering which protein you guys liked more, Designer Protein or Optimum Nutrition. Its between them two, and about how much did it cost a month for designer, I know how much for optimum, im on it now. Thinking about trying Designer.

I haven't used Optimum Nutrition, but I know a lot people who picked Designer Protein over Optimum.

Optimum is crap.....their strawberry tastes like shit...I would choose Designer anyday of the week over Optimum. I don't use either, I'm on Nitro-Tech and this shit rocks...

But pick Designer, better protein, higher quality and it even tastes better

Hey Serial Joe, how many scoops do you use a day? I'm interested in trying that supplement and I just want to know the recommended servings. Thanks for any info.

This is what I heard, I talked to the GNC guy, and he is huge, ripped as hell, does modeling and shows. Now the way he looks I would think he knows what hes talking about. First of all he said Nitro-Tech sucks, he hasnt seen any better results as using Optimum. He just tried it out to see if it does what they say. He also said Designer Protein is just as good as optimum, and optimum is cheaper if you look at the servings and shit. Thats what he told me, and the owner of the store. Strawberry doesnt taste good too, try the chocolate. Also if you get the strawberry quick and put a little bit in, I guess that makes it taste alot better.

I agree Optimum is the best for the money, I have used both. Also, I use the Vanilla Ice cream flavor and add strawberries and a banana and some ice and then blend it in the blender it tastes great.

I also recommend Optimum Nutrition for not only price, but also quality. I get great results from using Optimum and it is quite inexpensive. For anyone interested, I recommend going to either dpsnutrition.com, or the nutritionwebstore.com for the best online prices on the web for protein and anything else you might need.

The GNC guy! HAHAHAA now there's a guru...LOL Move over Will Brink and Dan Duchaine!

How many weeks did he use it for? How much was he taking? Or did he tell you to buy Optimum because he can't clear it off his shelves and he needs to get rid of the crap? You moron, of course he's going to sell you Optimum, they make GNC's brand and they more of a profit margin on Optimum as opposed to Muscletech.

Maxmuscle, my buddy is a magazine editor so I get Nitro pretty cheap, but I take 3 servings of 2 scoops. It's not AS and you're not going to put on massive amounts of muscle like juice, but over at least a 6 week period chances are you'll notice big differences than if you had used a cheap protein like Optimum or Prolab. Just make sure your diet and training is sound before you spend the money. Be smart, don't expect a protein to cover up a weak diet or lazy training..

The GNC Guys - Those idiots always recommend their stupid product because they have a special bonus plan based on selling the GNC brand. Once the guy told me I better buy their vitamins or all the other stuff I was buying "wouldn't work" - I went bullshit on him for lying to me and he shut his dumb mouth. He said the same thing to an older lady in front of me to peddle more of their stupid shit. Watch out for those guys - I have studied nutrition and supplements for 16 years now and those guys make me laugh everytime I go in. I love asking dumb questions like "what does creatine do?" It's hilarious to see what some of the answers are, they make it up as they go along. Never take their advice.

i think PROLAB's PROBLEND is one of the best proteins around. Time released protein, different blends of protein. Why does that suck?

for taste, they both suck ass. but thank god for the optimum 5 pounders, i buy one a month for around 27 bucks at gnc on the specials day, this month i didn't look at the flavor and picked vanilla by mistake, i wanted to frickin cry, with water or skim milk, it tastes horrible, oh yeah, if your feelin rich, go with the isopure strawberry, it's pretty good with milk, and it really helps with recovery, for me at least
