Have been working out for about 1 1/2 years and have started to notice good gains, took a little longer than I thought but was just wondering if Glutamine would help me get more gains, or could someone tell me what it will do for me

I'm pretty sure it helps against catabolism, therefore indirectly allowing you to make better gains (because of less muscle breakdown). Just started taking it myself a week ago. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm also taking creatine, andro, and norandro.

generally speaking, it aids in recovery (can help with muscle soreness), acts as a mass builder b/c it "forces" water into the muscles, and it also prevents catabolism. your body makes its own glutamine, so it's not an essential amino acid, but anyone in a consistent workout plan should always be using this. a good idea is to take b4 and after training, and i always take it b4 i do cardio. definitely one of the most important supplements, and it's not very expensive.

Glutamine levels are lost through any kind of stress the body goes through, whether its girl problems, or work related. so if you have low glutamine levels and you jusy finished an intense workout, your recovery process will be very pour. so remember to always keep your glutamine levels up or you will be wasting time and money.
