In my experience, anything made by Twinlab is high quality. They don't necessarily have the latest, cutting-edge suplements, but what they advertise is what they sell you. IP: Logged |

I agree with Brandon, Twinlab is good. I also use EAS, Max Muscle and Met-Rx. It depends, I change what I want to buy from each company from month to month. I have also used Sportpharma and Prolab in the past and they are okay too. IP: Logged |

Twinlab. You are getting what is on the label, no questions asked. IP: Logged |

Okay I'm gonna go with two and I'm going to get nailed by most of you for one of them. My two are PVL Nutrients (most of you won't know them, they're from Toronto, Canada and they are really good) and the other is Muscletech. Okay before you shoot me just read a moment. Despite all of the crap they get about ripping people off, think about this,if Muscletech was out to rip people off and make as much money as possible wouldn't it make more sense for them to put out a bunch of cheap generic supplements like Glutamine, Ribose, Amino Acids, Vitamins and basically everything that Twinlab puts out? Wouldn't they target baby boomers (our parents) instead of mostly bodybuilders? Hell they could use baseball players as spokespeople like California Proteins instead of paying Greg Kovacs the big bucks.... Okay my point is Muscletech could've come out with a cheap whey protein supplement years ago and made a few extra million dollars, but they didn't. They have a small, exclusive line up. Compare that to any other company who are basically "me too" companies. I know the products are expensive and don't work like the ads say they do (remember though the ads for ANY supplement company with results almost always state controlled studies and best case scenarios, and if you read the fine print of Muscletech ads, its says something to the effect of "Results may vary"), but the bottom line is, they aren't average run of the mill supplements. This is just my point of view and it seems that nobody really sits down and thinks about this when they bash them. If you look past the hype and the addicles, and just look at the products and what they are at least trying to do (come out with new progressive, cutting edge stuff, instead of the same shit as everyone else), they're really not that bad. Oh yeah, Prolab makes some good stuff too. Okay I've said enough. Flame away. [This message has been edited by Serial Joe (edited May 09, 2000).] IP: Logged |

Ha, ha! No comment on Muscletech. I think there is enough bashing on Muscletech so I dont have to say much. Everyone just hates their advertisements! They make ridiculous claims and it just makes me pissed to read that shit. If they were more realistic and upfront, they would get more respect. I tried Celltech and didnt notice any difference between it and other creatines (especially an amazing 10lb gain in a matter of days). But, everyone is free to have a choice and that's all good dude! ------------------ IP: Logged |
