i don't mean to be overposting, i know that makes some of you guys mad..but.
I have a tip for all you effervescent creatine fans. As far as i know, effervescent creatine just means the creatine is fully dissolved in the sugar it's mixed in, right? I read somewhere that when you mix normal creatine in juice, and all the undissolved creatine at the bottom and throughout the juice all gets wasted. To get the same benefits as effervescent creatine...take 8 ounces of juice...heat it up for about 2 minutes or until it's HOT...put the creatine in it, and mix it up...100% of it gets dissolved, therefore 100% of it gets used..I myself can't manage to drink it like that though, so i prepare it, put 2 cubes of ice in it and shove it in the freezer for 20 minutes
the creatine is all still dissolved..and now the juice is cold again, tasting fine.

Yeah, but the heat from the juice may damage the creatine. This is just my guess. I don't know what would happen if you put creatine into a glass of hot juice and then sticking it into a freezer for 20 minutes.

creatine is ineffective in hot temp.room temp is ideal for creatine.just get a shaker and shake well and drink up.also if you let creatine just sit in liquid for a period of time 20-30minutes it loses potency.it should be used immediatly.stop wasting money ,use your supplements correctly...

Hey guys,i am new at this and this is my first reply or post, but the effervescent creatine is dumped into the small intestine thus 100% absorption thats why it was made, the dissolved type gets dumped into the large int. so probaly 45-50% absorption is obtained. i have used both and like the effer. better, feel a bigger rush of blood in the muscle. good luck

the only thing I like about effervescent creatine is that it doesn't seem to give me gas or the shits like regular creatine does. other than that, it's all the same to me.

I don't believe the added cost is worth it. If regular creatine causes bloating, then by all means don't use it. But if your just looking for an edge, personally I don't think it exists. Just be sure to take regular creatine with a high glycemic drink like grape or apple juice.
