I've heard that caffeine works to negate the effects of creatine. Is this legit, or pure BS? I've been avoiding using both at the same time, just in case, but now I'm wondering if I really had to. Any insight would be appreciated. IP: Logged |

ive heard it too. its something about caffein dehydrating the body, and since creatine main objective is to focus more water into the muscles u dont wanna be doing anything that drains water from u. just my 2 cents ------------------ http://home.sol.no/~mrmuscle/ IP: Logged |

It's not BS. Caffeine and creatine don't work well together. Caffeine is a diruetic. Ever wonder why you have to piss after drinking alot of coffee or coke? It has the opposite effect of what you are trying to acheive with creatine, which is cell volumization. Caffeine is processed by the body in about an hour (it doesn't stay very long), so take your creatine at a time where you won't be taking any caffeine within an hour. hope this helps IP: Logged |

Ahh thx guys, damn I'm slow. I knew caffine was a diuretic, just didn't put the two together. Thx for doing it for me, hehe. IP: Logged |
