#1 Androstenedione ( I've heard it works, but also heard it may have dangerous side effects)

#2 Glycerol (does this do a good job of reducing water retention, and how good is the dandylion stuff?)

#3 Liquid Creatine (I currently use EAS regular powder, my bench is up a bit, but i dont notice and gains in size.) I've heard the liquid stuff gets into your blood faster.?

Thanks, Gary

They suck.

You have to start with the basics and work your way up.

Start with lots of animal foods (meat, eggs, dairy), lots of greens and vegetables, and lots of water.

Then add a good protein powder or MRP, flax-seed oil, creatine (plain old powder works just fine and is very cheap nowadays), and glutamine (which is way too overlooked).

Then get a really powerful complex of vitamins (from A to E), minerals (especially zinc and magnesium), antioxidants (especially coQ10 and alpha lipoic acid), and essential fatty acids (especially flax oil and fish oils).

If you want, then you can add a thermogenic stack, proandrogenics/antiestrogenic herbs and flavones (like tribulus and ipriflavone), neurotransmitter facilitators (tyrosine, choline, lecithin, DMAE, ginko biloba, etc), and/or prohormones.

Diuretics/detoxifiers? Caffeine, dandelion, and milk thistle ... plus the fiber from your diet.

But the only prohormones I would use are 4AD (androdiol) and 19NAD (norandrodiol) ... maybe 5AD too if I was a woman or if I was resistant to estrogenic side effects.

Personally, I think the reason people don't do well with prohormones is because they use insufficient doses, so I take megadoses (at least 1,000 MG per dose) at least 3 times a day ... with food. That's straight capsules. If I'm doing cyclos, I usually pop a lozenge in my mouth every 90 minutes from the time I wake up until the time I go to sleep.

ED is right, you have to start whith the basics. Don't underestimate the importance of a good MRP, glutamine, vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. (Flax Oil)

I personally feel that the most overlooked and underrated supplements are kidney and liver detoxifiers such as cranberry and milk thistle.

I feel that the only prohormones that are worth taking are 4AD and 19 Nor. (either dione or diol)I also feel that prohormones don't provided any bodybuilding benefit below 1000mgs per day. When you take high doses, 2 grams or more per day, the results are equal to that of a moderate dose anabolic steroid cycle.
