It is called C-Block by Absolute Nutrition. It is a carbohydrate inhibitor but seems too good to be true. Supposedly you take them before a meal and it will eliminate up to 35 grams per meal.

Oh okay. It may contain the ingredient Phaseolamin, which is extracted from Northern White Kidney Beans. It does in fact bind to carbohydrates, but the problem is that the amino acids in the phaseolamin get dissolved inside of the small intestine and then of course, so do the carbs that you were trying to prevent. So yes, it binds to carbs inside your stomach, but that's where its job ends as it is not effective in the rest of your digestive tract--which is where absorption takes place. I have an article of research about this very thing in which a company is being sued for making false claims. In this case, the evidence is clear that phaseolamin is worthless.
What's the main ingredient in C-block?

I never bought any so I don't have the bottle. The advertisement says "Trimplex"(phaseous vulgaris)which sounds like what you are talking about. Thanks for the info!

Just curious. Were you thinking about taking something to help keep carbs from turning to fat?

Actually I am just trying to get a little leaner. I am already taking an ECA stack and was contemplating taking clen. I eat pretty much low carb meals already but I'm always curious about the new products.

Don't know if if interests you, but I take Alpha Lipoic Acid 200mg with each meal to help shuttle the carbs into muscles rather than fat. I've been able to maintain leanness following my cycles with adipokinetix and that's the only reason I can figure (after the first cycle of adipo I gained back about 10 of the 15 fat pounds I lost, so I started to experiment with products and do some research on my own).

Alpha lipoic acid is amazing. I consider it esssential to losing bodyfat and improving pumps. It's a powerful antioxidant, plus it has amazing effects on insulin and glucose metabolism ... much like Glucophage, maybe better on a MG-for-MG basis.

If you're doing a cyclical ketogenic diet, it bumps you back into ketosis a lot faster.

I like doing 300 MG 3X day with food, but if you're doing a cycle and eating an obscene amount of food, you'd probably want to double or triple that ... or simply do 300 MG with every single feeding.

You know, with this stuff over the counter, I don't know why guys use insulin.

I know what you mean Ed. I'm currently using AST brand of Alpha Lipoic Acid since it's a really good price. If I had to choose 2 supplements to take, then I'd choose protein and ALA.
Christy, check out AST brand at your local health food store or if there's a comparable brand. You can order from DPS nutrition and that will save you some money if you're willing to buy online. The website is: http://www.dpsnutrition.com

You might save a couple of bucks if you pick up a therm such as MD-6 for your next ECA cycle as it also contains 200mg of ALA with each dosage and can be had for $25.

The problem with MD6 is that it can interfere with sleep if you take it too late in the day. I like the freedom to take it with my creatine to boost muscle uptake as well as being able to take it during the bulking phase. I can't bulk up if I'm taking MD6, so taking a separate ALA supplement is my answer.
Plus, I'm still not happy with Biotest, so I switched back to Adipokinetix.
