Yeah, I agree. Stick with the protein. Drink a shake with 20 grams of protein every 2 hours (mix it with water since a lot of people have mild allergies to milk--which can elevate your cortisol levels and drain your immune system). Don't take more than about 35 grams of protein at one time since you don't want to overburden your liver and kidneys. Also, make sure your protein shake is sugar free and very low or no carbs. Be sure to drink plenty of water as well so that you don't get bloated. You can also take creatine and glutamine if you want. Again, if you do that be sure to drink upwards of a gallon of pure water every day. Most people make the mistake of taking in too much protein at one time rather than keeping a little bit of protein in the system at all times. If you do this in addition to a low fat, moderate carb diet as well as train very hard allowing yourself to get a good night's sleep then you'll make great progress. IP: Logged |

Protein is very important as stated earlier. I also recommend checking out Essential Fatty Acid supplimentation. This can come in forms of Liquid Flax Seed Oil or Fish Oil liquids or capsules. Do not let the name of essential fatty acids scare you because of the word fat in it. Our bodies can not produce these nutrients. They are important in many functions in the body. Things like assisting in hormone (Testostrogen) fuctions, muscle recovery, help prevent saturated fats from being taken in by the body, and improve the heart and cellular functions. There is much more information you can find on these on the web or in books. Check them out. IP: Logged |
