What's the best protein, and times to take it? I been taking AST VP2 and didn't really see any results. Now I trying Nirtotech. From what I read on this board Muscletech is crap. What should I use?

Although some will disagree with me, I think that the best thing to do is to make sure you are taking protein at the right times rather than focusing on the specific brand of protein.
Personally, I think designer protein is a good brand since it is pretty cheap and seems to do the trick for me. You can also get good results from Max Muscle proteins. If you have more money to spend and want to make sure you are getting the best quality, then I'd definitely take Parrillo Protein, since they can be trusted to give you what you're paying for.
The timing question for protein intake is addressed at the Ast website (ast-ss.com). But I've found a little different approach that works for me. I like to drink my protein shakes (22 grams of protein, no fat or carbs) every 2 hours. That can be tough since a good appetite at regular mealtimes is required for good muscle growth. So what I do is cycle my protein intake to reflect whatever stage I'm in. For example, when I'm cutting fat (6 week cycle) then I tend to cut back on how much I take in. During this time I like to drink my shakes at half strength (12 or so grams of protein every hour or so). This way at least I'm getting protein consistently. I never ever go more than 4 hours without some good protein source.

isopure protien by nature's best is awesome, water or milk, you can get the regular or what i use is no carbs and drink it a couple times a day and especially after working out. 50g protien per 2 scoops i usually take 1 1/2 works great!
